How To Plan A Safari Trip To Out Of Africa Wildlife Park?

Danny Brown

Out of Africa is a Wildlife Park in Arizona. It is very different from any other zoo or wildlife park. It is considered one of the top zoos/wildlife parks in Arizona. The best time to visit Out of Africa is the month of December. The weather is perfect for a safari trip. There are certain things you should take care of before taking a safari trip.

Wildlife trips are exciting and fun. Adventure lovers love taking such trips. Going on such a trip requires a few necessary things to help you get through the journey with ease. We have made a list of things you can check on before leaving for the Safari trip to Wildlife Park.

  • Clothes

Make sure to carry appropriate clothing for your trip. The clothing should be comfortable and minimal. Carry a sweater, a windbreaker jacket, cargo pants, and a comfy t-shirt. Pack limited stuff for a trip like this.

  • Power Bank

The gadgets you are carrying need batteries to work. Carry a portable charger in handy, so you can use your phone, iPad, etc. The camps do have charging ports, but it is always good to have your own backup.

  • Appropriate Shoes

A pair of appropriate shoes is a must for a safari trip. Carry a pair of waterproof shoes to keep away from the rain. Also, carry a pair of slippers in case your boots get wet.

  • Camera

To get to capture the animals up-close, you need a good camera. The camera does not have to be a DSLR, but it needs to have a good lens.

  • Bag

Carry a waterproof bag to prevent the stuff inside from rain and the mud and dust around these areas.

  • Sunscreen

Sunscreen is a must to protect your skin from the direct rays of the sun. It should be non-sticky and non-greasy, so it is comfortable to wear. SPF 50 would work great.

  • Flashlight/Torch

A torch is a necessity to get around the tents. It is a lot more hassle-free, and you can get a better view around you, especially when you are going to the wildlife park at night.

  • Hat

A hat or cap can do a great job in protecting you from the scorching heat of the sun. You can also carry a pair of sunglasses to do the same job. Carry whatever you are most comfortable in.

  • Mosquito Repellant

Sleeping in tents can be a little hassle at times. Mosquitos are also there because it is the jungle around. To protect yourself from mosquito bites carrying a mosquito repellent would be great.
